Realization of a private marina designed to accommodate a super yacht and one mega yacht, the latter being the largest private yacht worldwide. The project includes the realization of two breakwaters with a total length of 2 km, two quay wall berths with a total length of 500 m, dredging, and reclamation, and pavement works. Gulf Foundation was subcontracted to perform the following activities:

  • Design and construction of 500 m quay wall with a retaining height of 16.5 m. The quay wall is built as a gravity structure with precast mass concrete blocks and a cast in situ mass concrete capping beam, complete with quay furniture.
  • Realization of the eastern rubble mound deep water breakwater with a length of 1350 m.
  • Realization of the western rubble mound deep water breakwater with a length of 700 m.
  • Pavement works.
  • Development of a rock quarry in the neighboring area to extract rock for the breakwaters.
