Design and Construction of two oil berths for bunker barges up to 20,000 DWT and LOA 120 m, control building, oil pipelines to matrix manifold and coastal protection works. The loading platforms of the berths are built as concrete deck on a cofferdam structure realized as anchored combi wall. The breasting dolphins are mono pile-structures. The mooring dolphins are realized as gravity structure in the revetment. The scope of Gulf Foundation in the JV included the design and construction of the following elements:

  • Loading platform built as combi wall cofferdam and concrete deck.
  • Marine furniture including fenders, quick release hooks, ladders, etc.
  • Mono-pile breasting dolphins with energy absorbing fenders.
  • Gravity structure mooring dolphins with quick release hooks.
  • Catwalks between the dolphins and the berth.
  • Coastal protection works realised as rubble mound revetment.
